The College’s infrastructure is up to the mark for maintaining congenial academic atmosphere. There are 32 adequately well equipped class rooms apart from the other rooms used for official purpose. Certain class rooms are donated by some of the generous citizens of the locality. The construction of new girl’s hostel, indoor stadium cum auditorium, and some new class rooms are going on in full swing. Departments of Education, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Physics and Geography have laboratories. Most of the Departments are using modern teaching aids like, LCD and Audio Visualizers. There is a well-equipped “Computer Resource Centre” adjacent to our central library. The College possesses its own spacious play ground, where an indoor stadium is under construction with the financial assistance from UGC. Main funding sources of the infrastructure development are State Government, UGC, donors and alumni, MP and MLA funds and Biswanath College Development Fund. Separate Girl’s Common Room exists in the college. Wheel chair is available to meet the requirement of the differently abled students. Apart from the small departmental libraries, our College has a rich central library with necessary computer facility. Its automation process is going on. The library has 26526 books and it is accessible to the readers from 9 AM to 3 PM. Spacious reading room, foreign and Indian Research journals / magazines reading rooms are also available. There is an effective mechanism for the maintenance of the infrastructure facilities. The institution has a separate boy’s hostel building with all facilities which is to be operational very soon. Well furnished quarters are also available for residential purpose of hostel wardens. There is a panel of doctors who visit the college on call to attend in case of emergency. The tree plantation and greenery around college is indeed a feast for eyes.
